The knowledge to deliver NDT

Our management team have extensive backgrounds in Non-Destructive Testing, working with high profile clients across the nuclear sector whilst ensuring full safety and compliance.

They share their specialist knowledge to advise clients on the most-effective approach for their NDT requirements, including qualification and inspection recommendations. Before ensuring projects are planned and executed on site to the highest precision.

Combined they have over 100 years of practical NDT application in the nuclear sector, from Radiography to Ultrasonic testing.

Bringing your experience to NRL NDT

We’re always interested in hearing from experienced NDT Technicians who want to join our teams in Egremont or Bristol. Experience we typically look for includes PCN Level 2, Welds RT L2, Ultrasonic (Level 2 and 3), Phased Array Level 2, Austenitic Weld and Magnetic Particle (MPI/DPI) experience.

If you’re new to specialist NDT work but have a proven track record and recognised qualifications in a complementary discipline, then why not send your CV to ndt@nrl.co.uk to be considered for future trainee positions.

Proud to be part of the NRL Group

Our NDT business is part of the wider NRL Group, providing a diverse range of services to clients in the energy and engineering space. From a strong background in delivering recruitment and workforce solutions, to specialist rail maintenance contracting services such as ultrasonic testing.

Across each area of expertise, you’ll find a shared commitment to safety, innovation and continuous improvement – that has shaped how our Group has grown over the past four decades.

Delivering social value that drives change

As a family-owned business, the impact we make through our social value activity is equally as important as our financial goals. That’s because we want to ensure that our business leaves a lasting legacy for the people we support, our communities and the planet.

Our annual social value report reflects on the collective effort colleagues across the NRL Group make each year, and the difference this is making. This includes challenging gender imbalance in male-dominated engineering industries, and how we’re engaging with STEM outreach work to broaden young people’s career opportunities.
